Ryan's History & Experience in Window Treatments
Growing up, Ryan worked in construction for his family business–there he learned the ins and outs of home design and construction, shaping his expertise for careers to come. Eventually he went on to become a master carpenter and work for Meyer and Lundhal, and then for Mortenson Construction.
Ryan lived in a wide variety of different places. Starting in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, he moved to Arizona, then California and back to Wisconsin where he then met his wife. After finally settling in Savannah, he and his wife purchased shutters from the Louver Shop and, as a master carpenter, absolutely fell in love with the quality and craftsmanship of the product.
His Louver Shop sales representative learned of his construction background and figured he could be a perfect fit for the company. Ryan began working for Louver Shop in 2010 and opened their Savannah territory in 2012.
Get to Know Ryan
In his time off, Ryan loves fishing in the ocean right off the coast in Savannah. Trips to St. Catherine's, Waterways and St. Simons are also favorites with his wife Jess.
Ryan also spends much of his time outdoors–hunting, fishing and hiking in the beautiful Georgian landscape, as well as climbing the Appalachians with his two sons Nolan and Cole. He’s always been extremely proud of his boys and their accomplishments, Nolan testing off of the charts in high school, and Cole graduating Georgia College with flying colors (while insisting on paying his own way).

If you asked Ryan what he thought about the Savannah community, he’d say that they’re the most hospitable people you could ever meet, hands down. The weather is amazing and the beaches are great. He and his family are constantly working towards bettering it in any way that they can.
As a avid supporter of his community Ryan has been highly involved in volunteer work to include May Howard Elementary, Habersham School and Savannah Arts Academy, as well as Habitat for Humanity. Ryan’s wife is also their area’s chapter leader for SCORE, helping small businesses in getting their start. They do absolutely everything they can for the community that they love.
