Brian and Jake did a wonderful helping to solve a problem in our sunroom. Afternoon sun was basically turning our most enjoyable space into a convection oven. Brian recommended these Koolblack battery powered transparent shades so we could still enjoy our view and watch the kids near the pool. The heat issue has been greatly reduced and the room is our favorite in the house. Thanks guys!
I want to start by saying this is the 3rd or 4th time I have used the Nashville Louver Shoppe and the the first time in recent years that I have been frustrated. This order took many weeks longer than expected or promised and then when the order arrived I was disappointed in the way the cut out around the door handle was treated, in that only the top part of the shutter was cut away and the part that goes against the door was not. In fact, the way it was treated caused the entire shutter to have to be offset by about a quarter inch because there was no cut out against the door where the door knob is located and it pushed the shutter to the left about 1/4 inch. I know with COVID everything is wonky and truly Bob and Shay of the Nashville franchise have been so easy to work with in the past that I feel this was mostly an aberration. But still - -communication should have been much better to let us know the status of our order and the unusual way they cut out around the door knob and moved over the entire shutter looks a little sloppy to me. Detail is everything when you are dealing with interior design features.
